Jayden's New Toy

When Jayden was born I remember looking at him laying in my arms and I thought I wish he would stay just like this forever. At the time I was justified in my thinking for I had no idea what would come from the months ahead and failed to comprehend what I would have to face. Yes I am referring to the dreaded Tummy Time . For most babies this is a time full of adventure and new discoveries . Well not my baby. Jayden HATES being on his tummy. He has a wonderful mat that he received for Christmas, but he will do two minuets on his tummy and then flip right on to his back, so I end up having to get up every few minuets to flip him back on to his tummy. (sometimes I have even considered duck tape). Well you can imagine that I don't get much done. But wait the plot thickens.... due to of his lack of tummy time Jayden has developed..yes you guessed it.. a flat spot! The gracious Dr. is going to give him one more month before he suggests a specialist and some kind of head gear. Oh Boy!! In order to prevent that I told Jon that it was time to go vertical! So it is my pleasure to introduce the Precious Planet Jumperroo! It bounces, it sings, it even lights up...but will it work? Let's see we have had it two days and he will play in it for about 10 minuets before he starts screaming. I have a feeling that in a month I will be posting pictures of Jayden's new head gear.
